I am Silas Hedley - Lawrence, a leader in regenerative farming systems. I create resilient, low-input systems that capture carbon, improve water cycles, increase biodiversity, and enhance soil health by working with nature. Over the last fifteen years I have strategically integrated practical farming experience with a broad network across the supply chain, and extensive training in regenerative agriculture. Through my coaching and consultancy, I help land managers achieve their goals with context-specific regenerative solutions. 

My farming journey began on the family dairy farm and kiwi fruit orchards in New Zealand, grounding me in lean, profitable, year-round grazing systems. Back in the UK, I earned a BA in Management and a postgraduate degree in Agriculture. Leveraging this background, I managed my first farm, witnessing the benefits of a lean grazing system in the UK. I moved on to a start-up farm and butchery venture, which is when I went deeper into regenerative agriculture. Here I regularly engaged with the community, producers, media, and chefs and saw how galvanising this movement was. Later I joined FAI Farms as Farm Manager in Oxford. As a research farm collaborating with global businesses, farmers, media, and industry organisations, I gained invaluable connections and insights across the whole supply chain. Over the years I've been fortunate to speak at many conferences and events (see more here).

Currently based in the UK, I am positioned to work with farms and organisations globally. I dream big, with a mission to achieve landscape & community regeneration on 5 million hectares over my lifetime. 
I believe we all have a role to play in steering our planet's future in the right direction.
